Improper computer use by youth ‘a ticking time bomb’

"A Canadian safety watchdog is questioning whether the problem of improper computer use by youth may end up becoming "a ticking time bomb."

The Canada Safety Council (CSC) has issued a strong warning to parents regarding computer use among teenagers and children, saying improper use could lead to chronic pain as adults, damaged eyesight and impact bone development.

"They need to immediately adapt the ergonomic standards in the workplace (at home)," Emile-J. Therien, president of the CSC said."   continued ...   (Via Woodstock Sentinel-Review)
