The new HFES annual series, Reviews of Human Factors and Ergonomics, condenses human factors/ergonomics knowledge in specific subject areas into a form that provides readers with a comprehensive understanding of each topic – its current state, important new research findings and technology, and current issues and research needs. Volume 1 is now available for purchase.

Each volume of Reviews of Human Factors and Ergonomics focuses on findings that are applicable in real-world contexts, especially to the design of devices, systems, or processes that people use or with which they interact. The chapters note ways in which research results inform theory or methodology for future research and also emphasize the practical implications of the research that is reviewed.
