Technology adressing night vision and color blindness to be applied to cell phones

Technology help for color blind people ...

"News.com reports on Boston-based company Tenebraex which "has captured attention for its technology that brings a range of colors to monochromatic night vision goggles and its EyePilot software that can help color-blind people see things in color-rich applications they couldn't see before."

"And now it seems Tenebraex is in talks with phone manufacturers to put EyePilot on cell phones that can work in conjunction with a phone's camera to identify real-life colors.

Anyone with a color deficiency could just point and click to find out if what looks like a green necktie, say, is truly green."    (Continued via textually.org)    [Ergonomics Resources]
